about me..
I'm a Finnish actor and theatre-maker working in my homeland and internationally as a performer, creator and director.
I trained at The Commedia School in Denmark and on the MA in Acting Course at East 15 in the UK, graduating in 2015.
Despite being born and raised in the land of ice and cold, I'm hot blooded and passionate!
I specialise in making funny faces, thanks to my parents who never stopped me clowning around.
I love to make people laugh, but I try to make myself seriously as an actor as well.
My extra special skills include physical theatre, one-woman shows and devising.
I have performed widely in Finland and throughout Europe in theatres, festivals, schools, circus tents, libraries, etc..
and in 2014 my journey took me to the land of hope and glory..(England).
During my time there I performed alongside John Hannah in THE TITANIC ORCHESTRA at The Pleasance in Edinburgh;
presented my Art Council England supported MACBETTI (in which I take on ALL the roles in Macbeth);
performed in Travelling Light Theatre Company's THREE KINGS and THE UGLY DUCKLING;
co-created the critically acclaimed KAFKA FOR KIDS! at the Edinburgh Fringe;
and devised FINN NOIR, a darkly comic rip-off of Scandi-Noir crime drama at Camden People's Theatre.
I also appeared in the Netflix movie EUROVISON SONG CONTEST: THE STORY OF FIRE SAGA,
alongside Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, and Marvel's SECRET INVASION.
In Finland my most recent credits include #LUMIKKI, a modern and crazy one-woman adaptation
of the classic tale of Snow White, made and toured with the support of the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
I've also appeared in the Finnish Scandi-Noir drama ALL THE SINS
and directed the critically acclaimed contemporary circus show 20 YEARS LATER, STILL HERE!
I've just moved back to my native country after 11 years in the UK.
At the moment, I'm expanding by skill set by doing a Master's Degree in Cultural Management (YAMK)
at the University of Applied Sciences (HUMAK) and continuing to create and explore different art forms.
I'm also developing an autofictional solo show, SLEEPLESS YEARS,
which rips off Ibsen's A DOLL'S HOUSE along with my own experiences while navigating my life as a mother and artist.
ast but not least, I'm directing the Finnish Acrobatic Trio AKROPATIT with their up-coming show, premiering in the spring of 2026.
I'm represented by Actors Network Agency www.ana-actors.co.uk
